Global warming based on computer models, not science – environmental critic
Never at all did global warming come from actual science, but instead was created thanks to the help of computer models according to environmental critic and writer Alan Caruba. He asks how believable it could be to trust that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change could really forecast what the climate patterns would be like come twenty, fifty, or ever a hundred years from what the weather is like now.
In many of Caruba’s writings, a massive amount of research goes into them according to his claims. One case he looked into goes all the way back to the 80s when the global warming story began to be endorsed by politicians such as Al Gore who raked in millions selling off worthless “carbon credits” alerting the public that “Earth has a fever”.
A group of scientists collected government grants to come up with data that backed this baseless point that carbon dioxide was the reason as to why the Earth was warming up. Researchers who were on board with the idea that global warming did and still does exist label the others who do not believe as “deniers”. Most media outlets joined them in their march and ignored the other side of the coin. It is not too far out there to say that even in schools materials have been penetrated by this what Caruba calls a “hoax”.
About 17 years ago, the Earth started to cool down and had nothing to do with carbon dioxide, which according to the Environmental Protection Agency lists as a “pollutant”. This is in spite of the fact that living creatures on planet Earth would die if it were not around.
As of February 1, NOAA along with NASA held a combined news conference presenting data about the 2013’s global ground surface temperature. Both organizations pointed out the “pause” in the climate status that began way back in 1997. Dr. David Whitehouse, a science editor for the BBC, mentioned that “When asked for an explanation for the ‘pause’ by reporters, Dr. Gavin Schmidt of NASA and Dr. Thomas Karl of NOAA spoke of contributions from volcanoes, pollution, a quiet Sun, and natural variability. In other words, they don’t know.”
Government entities like these, as well as other ones like the EPA and the Department of Interior employ people who believe in the global warming cause. Caruba states in his article on the Canada Free Press site that “one should assume that almost anything they have to say about the “pause” is based entirely on politics, not science”.
Residents of the US, UK, Europe and other parts who do not specialize in climatology, astronomy, or even chemistry for that matter are starting to suspect that global warming could be more fiction than fact. It has been noted that between 1300 and 1850 a mini-ice age rushed through the northern hemisphere. However, afterward the region got warmer. There was a sense of global warming going on, but has been observed as a natural cycle not an accident which was society’s fault.
Caruba does not seem to be a solo scientist in his belief that global warming is not around right now. Scientist Henrik Svensmark, the director of the Center for Sun-Climate Research at Denmark’s National Space Institute, thinks that “World temperatures may end up a lot cooler than now for 50 years or more.”
