Is Tom now the victim of a climate-forced migration?

Where is Tom headed?

Antarctica? :o

Hey Tom! Good luck with the fleeing! We want pictures of you playing with the endangered penguins. ;-)

There is something wrong with this entire concept IMO.

Why on earth would one "rent" their roof to some corporation for a period of 25 years no less? Things happen, one might need to relocate for employment purposes, one might need to resurface the roof in 10 of those 25 years, many things can happen.

How much additional expense would having the roof resurfaced now be when the panels have to first be removed, then reinstalled? What type of penalty or financial issue could be assessed upon the home owner during that period while the panels were no longer "producing"?

This entire thing sounds like the stupid waking up to the realization that they did something stupid.

They must be so proud to be part of the "green thing."

I can't feel badly for them, they did it to themselves for all the wrong reasons.

Obama must go. Betraying America to Russia? For the sake of re-election?

"President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.

President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…

President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.

President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir." abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/03/president-obama-asks-medvedev-for-space-on-missile-defense-after-my-election-i-have-more-flexibility/

Just who's side is this clown on?

Obama has screwed Canada, Poland, Czech Republic, the UK and Israel. He's undermined what few friends America has in the Middle East for ABSOLUTELY NO GAIN.

The man is in over his head... he's just to stupid to realize it.

Q2. Who punches "above their weight"?

Answers... everyone. (see video)

The man has turned the Presidential Office into nothing more than a PR firm.

Please America, regain your dignity. The free world needs and can't do without you.

Mark, unfortunately it is the more than 50% of Americans who don't pay taxes, have been made dependent on the government, and as we have seen on interviews "are waiting for Obama cash." I also strongly blame the high percentage of Republicans who didn't bother voting in the last election. It was the smallest percentage participation in a long time and if only 5% more voted, it would have made the difference. This time, it has to be "get out and cast your damn vote" no matter what!!!!

This is true, we had some odd sort of reverse racism on one side coupled with apathy and angst on the other. Some didn't vote because they didn't see anyone worth voting for. Many voted for Obama simply because he was a Democrat, wasn't Bush, and for far too many because he is black. Few if any voted for him based on qualification.

This time around he can't rely on his not being Bush and being a black man. He may still win, plenty of factual data regarding the Democrats and voting fraud is available. We can also expect the media will be his sycophantic cheerleaders as they were last time.

But this time around there are a much higher number of people who don't buy his b.s. anymore. We can only hope they aren't apathetic stay at homes who don't bother to vote.

Hi Gator, I love America and the American people and it is so disheartening to hear of what is happening over there, particularly limiting the genius of those that want to set up business and work hard to earn a living. Also here in UK we tend to follow the American agenda so I hope against hope that someone is elected that will fight for the constitution to be upheld, American's should be proud of their achievements, the statue of liberty is not there for nothing.

Anti-Obamacare Lawyer Makes Romney's Argument

If the Supreme Court overturns the individual mandate based on the theory argued by Paul Clement, the attorney representing the 26 states that filed lawsuits against Obamacare, Mitt Romney's presidential campaign could get a big boost from the ruling.

Clement told the court, just as Romney has told Republican primary voters, that states have the power to enact individual mandates wheras the federal government has no such authority.

"I do think the States could pass this mandate," Clement said today in response to a question from Justice Sonia Sotomayor. "[T]he States can do it because they have a police power, and that is a fundamental difference between the States on the one hand and the limited, enumerated Federal Government on the other."

Romney has argued throughout the presidential primary that Massachusetts has the ability, under the 10th Amendment, to enact an individual mandate for health insurance...

If the Supreme Court agrees that states can enact mandates, but rules that Obama's mandate is an unconstitutional infringement on individual liberty, then Romney will have a solid rebuttal.

Plus 'Romneycare' did not abolish private insurance, it was designed only to cover those who had no insurance, not replace what private citizens chose on their own.

Too much 'spin' from the media, trying to make something from nothing.

Red Jeff, that is a hilarious video - but also tragic at the same time. Would be nice if that clip is used in some campaign ads here. Considering how the Dems vilified Bush saying he lessened the US's standing in the world and now we have this hapless President Obama making a mockery of our country. Sad, but unless we Americans truly wake up by November, the situation will accelerate and deteriorate beyond belief. For the first time in my lifetime, I am truly scared for our country's future.

Ecar talk! Fisker (bad) Karma batteries tanking? "the company that makes the Karma pack – announced a replacement program for "battery modules and packs that may contain defective prismatic cells produced at A123's Livonia, Mich. manufacturing facility." The $55 million program will kick off with shipments this week and does not affect any cells, prismatic or cylindrical, made at A123 facilities outside of Livonia." green.autoblog.com/2012/03/26/fisker-karma-involved-in-new-55m-battery-replacement-program-fr/

In the newest Obamaspeak "Fisker is also extending the warranty period from 50 months/50,000 miles to 60 months/60,000 miles in the U.S. and from 48 months/100,000 km to 60 months/100,000 km in Europe. Fisker calls this a "significant upgrade to the VIP Customer Care Coverage" that all 2012 Karma buyers get."

Is "significant upgrade to the VIP Customer Care Coverage" how you now say recall?

"(GM's Randy) Fox would not disclose how much this replacement program would cost GM, but extra 120V cords cost $360 and up"

More Obarmy must go! Obarmy's $770 million Arab Spring initiative (Via Anne's $770 million enviro-link above): "The State Department is requesting $770 million – most of it “new money,” according to officials – for its proposed new Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund, which it says aims “to respond strategically to the historical changes taking place across the region.” cnsnews.com/news/article/state-dept-budget-seeks-spend-770-million-arab-spring-reforms-11-countries

If I told you that Iran was one of those beneficiaries would you believe me? I didn't think so.

But you'd be wrong. "...the State Department in its fiscal year 2013 budget request Monday identified 11 specific targets... (including) one whose government has shown no sign of meeting citizens’ demands for change (Iran)."

Question... did Obarmy at least make them give the drone back?

Are you an Obarmy "Gen44"? Yes, 'The One' has named the young after his historical self. A generation who elected him 44th president should be known as such! (the bathroom generation was already occupied!). hotair.com/archives/2012/03/26/obama-gives-millennials-a-new-name-meet-gen44/ (As an added bonus guess how many times Bambams eyes flash to the lower right as he reads the 59 second ad. He's too thick to memorize a 1 minute commercial!!!) Answer at the end of this comment!

Mind you under Obarmy...

-youth unemployment has hovered at nearly double the national rate. Currently, it’s at 15.8 percent

-in 2010, the Labor Department recorded the lowest youth labor force participation rate in history

-The Young America Foundation’s Youth Misery Index — a combined measure of youth unemployment, the national debt per capita and average graduating student debt — has grown 17 percent while Obama has been in office.

I counted between 16 and 19 teleprompter glances!

Hi Gator! I got this through your link above www.youtube.com/watch?v=pagedf9cM0U&feature=related

The kids readily admit to, and identify THEMSELVES in the surveillance video!

Their excuses?

1. "We didn't mean to tear up the store"
2. "They weren't being malicious, they were in the moment" see quote 7
3. "They was so angry"
4. "Cuz I was mad"
5. "I was jus' angry"
6. "I was jus' tryin to make a point for Trayvon"
7." I don't want people to consider us as untamed children because thats not what we are. We're better than that we're bright kids" from the person quoted @#2

It's sad. It's not that they can't decide between right and wrong, it's that they don't know the difference anymore.

Interesting that the shooter is a registered Democrat tho'.

Hey Jeff! I had a young black man working for me almost 20 years ago who was a member of a black fraternity. On his desk one day was his frat magazine, and in it was a story about how breaking windows and stealing was justifiable due to the black community's anger over injustices.

Apparently dozens of wrongs can eventually make a right, for somebody.

We have a cultural issue here that is rotten to the core, and it is incapable of self policing.

Boulder Couple Builds 125 Square-Foot House

BOULDER, Colo. -- With grand designs on minimizing their housing footprint, Christopher Smith and Merete Mueller have spent the last 10 months building the tiny home of their dreams.

"It's 19 feet long wall to wall,” Smith said. “The interior square-footage is about 125 square feet.”

“The interior looks a lot bigger than the exterior,” Mueller said.

Their design incorporates several sustainable elements, including: reclaimed windows, beetle-kill lumber, solar power and a composting toilet.

"It’s just a five-gallon bucket that you put peat moss and sawdust in,” Smith said. “You'd be surprised how well it works and how much it doesn't smell.”

"We are really interested in learning more about how the innovations of tiny houses can be scaled up to larger structures," Mueller said.

"What makes a space into a home is all the stories that get built into it over time,” said Mueller. “And when we spend our first night in this house, it's already full of all these stories."

Those stories have also been documented for a film called “Tiny: A Story About Living Small", which is scheduled for release this spring. The pair is also planning an open house in Boulder in the coming months. For more information, visit Tiny-TheMovie.com.

No eggs either Mark! "Britain's supermarket shelves could be empty of key products within a month as an acute shortage of eggs threatens to have serious consequences for the country's food chain. New EU rules banning the housing of hens in conventional cages are being blamed for what some in the industry are already labelling a "crisis", as competition among food manufacturers to source eggs sends prices rocketing. The price of eggs on the EU wholesale market has nearly quadrupled over the past week to more than four euros a kilo. "It's now no longer a question of price, it's a question of supply," said one industry source who asked to be anonymous. "I estimate that within three to four weeks some companies will be at breaking point."http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/mar/04/supermarkets-fear-egg-shortages?INTCMP=SRCH

Via Sheffield " The scramble for eggs is forcing him to charge £2.20 for a dozen large eggs – an £1 increase on what he normally charges. Paul said: “I paid 30p per dozen more for the eggs I bought this morning than I paid for the same-sized eggs yesterday, it’s crazy. I have to pass that cost on to my customers who simply can’t pay those kind of prices." humanewatch.org/index.php/site/post/egg_shortages_hit_europe._soon_to_hit_america/

Nothing surprising in that.

GM's funding was paltry per the numbers listed, and the only people this will appease will be the greens who are already enamored with GM's 4 wheeled electric fire hazard.

Rational people on the other hand are examining GM's ethics, the government handouts they grovel for, and their lack of backbone with the result they will be buying from someone else.

GM can't survive without the government bailouts so what else can they do but cave to green-pressure groups.

I don't mind, it shows them for what they really are and reinforces my decision to never buy another of their vehicles again.

Olbermann says Current TV wasn't the home for him

By LYNN ELBER

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Keith Olbermann is explaining his split with Current TV in decorating terms.

In an interview Tuesday with David Letterman for CBS' "Late Show," Olbermann compared himself to an expensive chandelier that ended up without a good home because of problems at Current - and his failure to see them.

"It's my fault that it didn't succeed in the sense that I didn't think the whole thing through. I didn't say, `You know, if you buy a $10 million chandelier, you should have a house to put it in,'" Olbermann said, according to a CBS transcript.

Then there is this lovely Whitehouse mouthpiece...

"White House press secretary Jay Carney goes it at with FOX News' Bret Baier in an interview that aired on the network's news program "Special Report."

Bret Baier, FOX News: Democrats put forward a budget that failed in the House, a version of the president's budget was voted on in the House and Democrats said it was a stunt, but it fell 414-0. Senate Democrats have not passed a budget resolution in 1,070 days. Why?

Jay Carney, White House: Come on, Bret. You can sight, and I know you often do the statistics that represent, you know gimmickry and stunts --

Baier: Wait, what's gimmickry about not passing a budget in the Senate?

See the rest and video here...

www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/04/03/baier_vs_carney_press_sec_says_leadership_is_not_presenting_a_budget.html

If you watch or read this exchange, and think the Obama administration is living up to their promises of 'transparency', dial 911 as you are seriously delusional and a danger to yourself, and others.
