UEA death threats published

Written by Bishop Hill.

professorphiljonesProfessor Phil JonesIn the wake of the death threats that weren't at ANU, several people sent FOI requests to the University of East Anglia asking for copies of the death threats that they said Phil Jones had received. The relevant emails have now been released and can be seen here

Be warned, this is very, very ugly stuff, and there are several messages in there that seem to me to be criminal.

Colour me disgusted.

Seems to me that this could be the sinister work of Peter Gleick which made him the ideal candidate for head of climate ethics.

Scams all the way down.

Most of em seem to be from one person.

I don't trust em' it's too obvious and it's odd that they come out now isn't it.

some of them seem legit, but then they started making references to "socialists" and "the left", and it's making it clear that there's something fishy about them.

Well I finally got the link to work, and I guarantee at least some of these email are fake. They are too obvious in their attempts to not only paint skeptics as dangerous, but illiterate as well, and especially Americans.

And it is truly incredible that every angry death threat ever made to alarmists was sent to only one person.

Sorry, but I do not buy it.

We've been Gleicked!

These are certainly not the e mails that I have seen before, the ones released were 'timid'. These are appalling and whoever wrote them should be locked up and the key thrown away, they are vile, disgusting and totally scary. Whatever Phil Jones has done he does not deserve this, no one does. Poor man no wonder he was afraid.

I have not been able to get the link to work, and have not read the email in question. But I have read descriptions of them, and it sounds as if some are forgeries meant to discredit skeptics.

We know from past experience that even those alarmists who are appointed to enforce ethic standards, are not above breaking laws and pushing forgeries to further their cause. Until they stop lying to, cheating and defrauding the public, they have zero credibility.

Cry babies...
