A complaint to ACMA, about ACMA

Written by Andrew Bolt, Herald Sun blogs.

Even if their complaints fail, they still win, having forced radio presenters and staff to spend hours of effort and anxiety to defend themselves against complaints made at no cost in a matter of minutes.

I know what lengths The Bolt Report was forced to go to by an intolerant Sydney reader of this blog who complained about my factual statement about global temperatures. The complaint was dismissed, but the process is the punishment.

But now I have a complaint. A complaint against ACMA itself.

If it is now called upon to adjudicate upon arguments on global warming, it should at least seem impartial.

But take this false and offensive statement in its adjudication of a complaint against 2GB’s Chris Smith (dismissed, of course).

The purpose of the Prime Minister’s comment was to contrast climate change deniers, such as Alan Jones, Piers Akerman and Andrew Bolt, with those who believed in anthropogenic climate change, including ‘every reputable climate scientist in the world’.

Note to ACMA:

- that statement is false. I do not deny climate change.

- if your excuse is that I deny human influence on the climate, that is false, too.

- the term “denier” is offensive and inappropriate in any circumstances.  “Denier” is used by warmist extremists to link sceptics who question the danger of anthropogenic climate change to bigots who deny the Holocaust.  (Warmist Robert Manne has explicity endorsed the term ”denier" for exactly this reason.)

So ACMA has used a false and derogatory term to descibe me and those with similar views.

It should apologise and correct its judgment.

Another false claim is that ‘every reputable climate scientist in the world’ believes in ACC.

To whom do I complain?

If they are so "Reputable" why can't they make accurate predictions?

If they were investment advisors with a track record of 20 years of failed predictions would anybody consider them reputable or reliable sources?

If Sceptics are labelled "Deniers"

Then warmists are labelled "Collaborators"

Its a word that should be used - I dont know why no one has thought of it yet.

Brilliant! The whole Denier label is used to silence any disenting opinions.

Collaborator is especially relevant seeing as they just asked for Immunity from Prosecution.

Let the Nuremburg AGW Climate Crime's Trials begin!
