I watched the Singer clip (disclosure: I have not seen the whole program) and the reference to the Oregon Petition, as not exactly being an exclusive club, citing the fact that a bachelor's degree is sufficient for signing. I guess the interrogator is unaware of "The Delinquent Teenager Who Was Mistaken for the World's Top Climate Expert".

Yellow journalism at its best! Who wrote this? Big Bird?
